Bugs, bugs, and more bugs

We have a Japanese Beetle problem. . . have for years. They like our roses and certain other plants in our landscaping. This year K decided to try a Bag-A-Bug. It lures the beetles into the bag with a scent.

It has been very effective in capturing the beetles. Perhaps too much so. . . . This bag is holding two days worth, which we estimate to be around 250 beetles. Holding the live bugs in the bag is a very interesting feeling.

We may be collecting all of our neighbors' beetles as well.
