It just doesn't seem right - wearing snowpants and gloves for an Easter Egg Hunt.

Girl 2 lost her 7th tooth (and she's 7 years old) on St. Patrick's Day. Check out the underbite.

Wildlife in our backyard

A few days ago we watched some deer walk right through our backyard. We have seen them before, but usually only at night. Last night (early this morning) I woke to the sound of an owl. It was quite loud and just wouldn't keep quiet.

Girl 3 - Age 3

Cold and snow and more cold and more snow and frigid temperatures and many days in the single digits and Girl 3 still refuses to wear her coat and snow and more cold and really cold wind and a garage door that repeatedly freezes shut requiring me to pour really hot water all over it to melt the ice and then the water almost immediately freezes leaving a sheet of ice on the cement and more cold and snow, etc. And visiting every furniture store within an hour drive—some multiple times—to find a sofa (you may not call it a couch) or two for our family room.

Oh, and we had a couple of birthdays.
