I had Parent Teacher Conferences with both S’s teachers (regular and honors) and two of M’s teachers. They are both doing really well and their teachers love to have them in class. At S’s last orthodontic appointment, springs were put on her wires to force her front teeth together so there would be room for the other permanent teeth to come in. The teeth moved fairly quickly, although we haven’t seen any sight of the permanent teeth yet. M went to a preseason Bulls game with the youth from the Stake (they had a little fireside beforehand in a conference room in the stadium). She said it was really fun.

The second weekend of October the girls had some time off school because of conferences so we went up to the Dells in Wisconsin and stayed for a couple days at America’s largest waterpark resort - Wilderness Family. We got to enjoy three different indoor waterparks. K, M, & S rode quite a few big waterslides. B was so much more timid than at our Great Wolf trip last fall. She insisted on holding my hand while sliding on the little slides and wouldn’t even try some of the bigger kiddie slides.
