We had a good time in Paris. The weather was mostly nice (just a bit of rain). We did a lot of walking, even though we took trains everywhere. Half of our walking was done underground...to get onto trains, or transfer between trains. The metro system is great and we could get everywhere we wanted to go - even to the airport and to Versailles. Since D, C, and S were with us, we saw all the big tourist sights - Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, St Chappelle, Sacre Coeur, Arc de Triumphe, Invalides, Pantheon, the Louvre and several other museums. We tried to experience as much French as we could...we ate French Fries, French Bread, French Toast(ed bread), and Snails, saw French kissing, and passed by a man playing a French Horn in the metro tunnel.

The first Saturday of the month our ward had an activity at the temple (adults & youth) and at a neighboring ward building (youth & children). M did her first baptisms in the temple (at 6am!).


While we were in Paris, the girls had a fun time with Grandma. Grandma even taught B how to follow the rules when playing board games. (This was met with quite a bit of resistance.) As for the rest of the month...more of the same - doctor’s appointments, tests, me still feeling crappy, planting flowers in the yard, a trip to the zoo, and school winding down. M & S started tennis lessons again and performed in a piano recital. M also played her flute with her junior high band in the Memorial Day parade.
